It's been a while...
Hey there! whoever you are. I am back. Been pretty busy juggling two kids and so much has been going on that i somewhat forgot about this blog. But i have returned, hopefully able to write more updates as they happen.
Update on kids: Darius is 3 and a half and my little helper. He is so sweet, gentle and loves helping me out with Maddie. He loves cars, trucks, helicopters and fixing things. Im doing pre-school with him right now and its been fun, hes got a short attention span but what 3 yr old boy doesn't?
Madelyn is 10 months old now, crawls, sits up, plays cars with D and eats real people food now! She's growing in leaps and bounds and is so beautiful! She's feisty though and very talkative and loud, quite the opposite of her sweet little brother. They are both such a joy.
Update on Ry's work: He's working full-time on the DTV now and has sold it with the patents to BPG works motors. The US military is interested and he'll be meeting with them on Jan 22nd at their California base to present it. along with a 6 hour interview. I am so excited/nervous for him! If this goes through it is absolutely huge! After he returns from that we'll all go back to Cali to film some shows it will be on etc...will be really nice to get away from the cold for a bit :)
Update on goals/dreams: The whole purpose of inventing this project was to sell it to make enough money to finish bible school and do missions...that has not changed. If the Lord provides us financially through the DTV we want to use it just for that. We have a heart to reach the unreached. were praying for a specific place and people right now and just want to be guided by the Lord and not our own hearts. Im so excited to see if the Lord will use this project to help fund our dream.
anyway, thats pretty much our life in a nutshell right now. Weve been still trying to witness to muslims and such here and went to a debate a couple of weeks ago, but the Muslims there were very prideful and heart hearted. only God can soften their hearts and we pray for that. Ry and some friends also went around to all our neighbours at Christmas inviting them out the Xmas eve service and giving out New testaments and a Jesus movie. Nobody came out to church so hopefully the'll read the word or watch the movie.
God's been really teaching us lately to give up our lives for him. That following Christ should cost you something. We were really inspired by the move "The Hiding Place" the story of Corrie Ten Boom. If you can watch the movie or read the book, Its such an amazing picture of the Gospel and inspiring to all Christians to live for Christ no matter what the cost. He is worthy!
